We're a fun, enthusiastic, and energetic group that first of all love what we do. Being so, a lot of times our creative minds can be found outside of the normal office environment, with laptops in hand, at our local cafe or elsewhere, discussing our authors and working on the vision they have for their book. We see each author we bring on as an extension of our PENDIUM family and believe that what we publish is a reflection of our company. We commit ourselves to working on each book just as if it were with a traditional publisher - giving it the time and attention it deserves.
You'll discover that this is the main reason we screen submissions, in order to insure we're not publishing junk and that your book is not surrounded by published junk. We turn down numerous submissions and sometimes, unfortunately, this does not sit well with the author of the work. But a publisher who has criteria in what they produce speaks volumes about who they are and who you, as a potential PENDIUM author, are affiliated with. You're embarking on the journey of being a published author, which is serious business. You wouldn't want anything less for your book.
Separating ourselves from our competitors, most who will publish anything as long as you pay them; our focus is more on quality than quantity. We're not a company who will charge you high, extraneous fees to bring your book to market. We never try to up sell you on anything such as marketing services or on things beyond what you've decided you need. So there are never any sales pitches - never. And because we want you to succeed as an author, joining PENDIUM earns you 100% royalties on all sales generated through Amazon.com and other book venues. This means you don't share your royalties with us.
And in your search online, you'll perhaps run across what is considered a POD war - publishers badmouthing other publishers in hopes of gaining your business. We, at PENDIUM, don't partake in such negative behavior as we cannot dictate on how another publisher should have their business set up. If they charge more for similar services, then they just do. And whether you select PENDIUM or another, we simply pray you much success on your literary journey.
