How Printing Cost is Determined:

The final page count of your book and whether you publish in hardcover or paperback will determine the print cost of your book, and the price you pay for when you need personal copies.

The PENDIUM structure makes it possible for our authors to order their book(s) and still make an excellent profit. Unlike our competitors who offer their authors a percentage off the list price of their printed book (normally 20-35%), PENDIUM authors pay only the actual printing cost incurred to produce their book by the printer. If your book cost $2.52 to print, it doesn't matter - that's what you will pay.

Additionally, there are no minimum purchase requirements when ordering your title, meaning you can order just one copy of your book if one copy is all you need - at any time.

Publishing with PENDIUM (Using the scenario of a 200 page book with a $12.95 list price):

Printing cost for a 200 page book would be $0.015 x 200 pages = $3.00 + 0.90 per unit = $3.90 print charge

$3.90 print charge = $3.90 cost to the PENDIUM author (leaving a $9.05 profit per book for the author to make)

If an author orders 100 books from PENDIUM, the cost would be:
100 books x $3.90 per book = $390.00 + cost of shipping/handling ($45.87)

Publish with another Publisher (Offers Discount off List Price) :

$12.95 list price x 35% discount = $4.53 discount to their author

$12.95 - $4.53 = $8.42 cost for each book ordered (leaving only a $4.53 profit per book for the author to make)

If the author were to order 100 books from another publisher, the cost would be roughly:
100 books x $8.42 per book = $842.00 + cost of shipping/handling (?)

Difference:

$452.00 ($842.00 - $390.00) would be what you would pay in excess. This is also the amount another publisher would make in profit from you ordering just 100 copies of your own book. Surely you could use that $452.00 for something else.
