Rudolph Hines was born in Rocky Mount, NC. He was drafted into the US Army where he would serve two years active duty, four years reserve, and later receive an honorable discharge. He would go on to start a career in music, and soon co-found an 8 member musical group where he played the trombone, trumpet, drums, percussion, and vocals. The groups first record release made billboards top 100, which allowed him to tour and travel all over the world meeting BB King, George Benson, 38 Special, Mother's Finest and the list goes on.
